Get the Facts About Quixtar |
Quixtar shares facts and information about the company, the business opportunity it supports, Independent Business Owners (IBOs), and much more. This is also where you'll get answers to questions or issues raised by critics of our type of business.
Pure and simple, Quixtar offers individuals the opportunity to have a business of their own, supported by world-class products and infrastructure and Quixtar's Independent Business Owner Compensation Plan, which rewards them for sales resulting from their efforts.
History
Launched in 1999, Quixtar is part of the Alticor group of companies, along with Amway Corp., a global leader in direct selling, and Access Business Group, a manufacturing and logistics firm. Quixtar was created to provide IBOs with a new business that would blend high-tech e-commerce with the high-touch, personal approach they provide, creating a web-based business model that would thrive where others struggle.
Within three years of its launch, the vast majority of IBOs supported by Alticor in North America were with Quixtar, leading to the difficult decision to discontinue the Amway business brand in the U.S. and Canada. (Amway still thrives globally, with nearly $5 billion in sales last year.)
